Now is the time to visit the Lake Superior Zoo, where hundreds of animals and exotic species await you. You will see Siberian Tigers, African Lion, Snow Leopards, Cougars, Polar Bears, Alaskan Grizzly & Kodiak Bears, Harbor Seals, Kangaroos, plus a variety of bats, reptiles and monkeys, and much more! Experience the daily animal feedings and enrichments, designed to excite both zoo animals and zoo visitors. Ride the Zoo Train and see the zoo from a whole new perspective! The Zoo Train operates daily Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. You'll find great shopping at the Tiger's Paw Gift Shop and snacks to entrées at the Safari Café. The zoo's website has a complete listing of daily animal activities, classes and outreach programs, plus upcoming events. Special rates are offered for groups of 10 or more by calling (218) 723-3748 for advance reservations. The Lake Superior Zoo is situated next to Fairmont Park in West Duluth, sitting on over 16 ½ acres of rocky hills, majestic pines and the beautiful Kingsbury Creek. The zoo is located just 10 minutes from Downtown Duluth and offers visitors year-round recreational opportunities for all ages. Become a zoo member and visit as our animals as often as you like.
