Tour the historic Congdon mansion, Duluth's premier estate with over 7 acres directly on the shore of Lake Superior. Glensheen features a 39-room Jacobean style mansion complete with custom designed original furnishings. The beautifully manicured grounds include formal gardens, carriage house with carriage collection, gardener's cottage, clay tennis court and more. Completed in 1908, Glensheen is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Tours last approximately 1hr, 15 min. Check our web page for seasonal events. Call for rates, reservations or more information. Open daily 9:30 am-4 pm from mid-May to mid-October. Open Saturday & Sunday 10am-3pm from October 23, 2006 to May 25, 2007. Admission charged.
