What started in 1977 with a group of 150 local runners has grown to a premier sporting event that draws more than 9,000 participants to Duluth each June. Grandma's Marathon weekend is full of events and spectators, and runners from around the world.

Short of actually running it, you couldn't be closer to the action. The racecourse follows the scenic Old Highway 61 from Two Harbors to the finish line in Duluth's Canal Park.
